La Katie A, or simply Kate, is a Vienna-based dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher specializing in Reggaeton and Latin-influenced urban styles. She began dancing at the age of four, first training in country folk dance and later in ballroom dance, where she spent more than twelve years participating in competitions, training camps, and performance projects. Later, she also performed in a show dance group, appearing at various cultural and entertainment events in her home country, Belarus. This strong technical foundation shaped her musicality, discipline, and understanding of movement.

After moving to Vienna in 2017, Kate began focusing on Reggaeton and Latin urban dance styles. She continued expanding her training by exploring different dance forms and regularly attending international dance events and workshops. In 2019–2020 she completed the postgraduate program “Dance Instructor for Urban Dance Styles” at USI Wien. Since 2019, she has been teaching Reggaeton in several dance studios in Vienna as well as through her own dance projects and workshops.

Kate’s classes are known for their energetic atmosphere, clear explanations, and supportive environment. Students often note her contagious energy and friendly approach, which create a space where dancers feel comfortable experimenting and developing their movement. With a strong technical background and continuous curiosity for new influences, she combines structured training with the expressive musicality characteristic of Latin dance styles.

In her teaching, Kate places particular emphasis on pedagogy and clarity of movement. Rather than simply demonstrating choreography, she carefully breaks down steps and body mechanics so that dancers understand how and why movements work. This approach allows students of different levels and backgrounds to progress confidently while developing both technique and personal expression.
